| Laura has been sewing since she was about 12 years old ... she even made her own wedding dress and all the dresses for her entire bridal party. In Laura's free time, she makes hand embroidered quilts and whole cloth baby quilts. Laura became involved with Irish Dance because of her daughter. Laura was thrilled that her child actually wanted to dance since she trained to be a professional ballet dancer for 15 years until developing arthritis in the knees and hips. Laura spends a lot of time making sure her daughter is properly warmed up, stretched out, etc so she doesn't end up this way! Laura started out making dresses and her family and friends and finally decided since she loved doing it so much she would start making them for others. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
